learn basic auto mechanics

i want to help my dad. i’m a teen and my dad has three cars. not to mention my mom died 2 weeks after i turned 11. It would really help my dad if i took mechanics. that way he’d know exactly what’s wrong and i’d know what he’s talking about. example: “(my name), the __ is broken, or the _ needs to be replaced” dad says. “Umm…ok, do you need a screwdriver or something?” I say

henry, my 1969 morris mini deluxe, is a great car and i should look after him better.. i would like to learn basic auto mechanics so i know how to fix him if something goes wrong, or at least have a better understanding of the problem..
