Well and as it’s May Day bank holiday.
We’ve had a lovely weekend with good friends and packed loads in… not to mention a month’s worth of lovely food and fizzy!!
I’ve really enjoyed it and it’s been just what the stress levels have required.

Another round of fireworks and bonfires.
I love the smell of wood smoke and fireworks.
It just makes me smile. Now celebrating an attempt to blow up the Houses of Parliament is an odd choice of holiday but I love it.
And it always conjurers up happy memories for me too.

We went to the best firework display set in an ancient, moated castle last night to celebrate Guy Fawkes night. The display was free and lasted for over thirty minutes. I watched it with my face upturned into the cold, cold rain but with the biggest smile on my face.
I was freezing but felt very alive. I made sure that I got kissed good and proper in the rain too!
Today was a naming ceremony for a good friend’s baby daughter. It was lovely and a proper celebration of a new life.
Good food, good conversation and we met two people that we had a real giggle with.
JP Creighton rising to shine on a rainy cloudy May Sunday;waiting for coffee, here.
My family and I enjoyed a quiet evening together, and the next day, a Sunday, we enjoyed a leisurely meal at Carabba’s in Savannah.
I find that each day is another celebration of life.
