Re-signed up for the casting emails from Backstage. This pretty much counts. Also…went to one audition this week and saw 2 plays!

Have been doing an image workshop all weekend. You talk in front of a class, and they write down adjectives they think describe you. It’s enlightening, and hopefully I’ll be able to market myself more specifically, and with greater confidence. I already have a pretty good idea, but tomorrow, the final day, I will truly find out my top things!
Went to another open call yesterday. Went better. Also saw TFANA’s “All’s Well That Ends Well.” Boy, that makes for a long day!
Yesterday I wrote down some v/o commercial copy from a television commercial and read it a few times. They really cut out the breaths in between the sentences! Sneaky!
Actually printed out the March schedule from Actor’s Connection. It reminded me of the good old days when I went there. It also got me excited to try and do some send outs. I think I may need those color headshots though…Where did the confidence of my youth go??
Printed the notices. Went to one audition. They actually took a minute to look at my resume, and they laughed at my piece. I was nervous though! Still haven’t uploaded my resume…
Went through some casting notices online. I need to print out the ones I’m interested in, and also upload my resume and photo onto the site. Mr. H agrees that their new site does not work well; I’m so glad he agrees!
Had some downtime at work today; read a bunch of emails about bettering one’s acting career. Then I saw “Light in the Piazza.” I’d call that a productive day!
I got this idea from my nutritionist last year. What can you do each week to accomplish your goal? What can you do each day? And then you schedule your things! They can be simple, small things, as long as it’s something. I often think I should make a new blog just to chart my progress. But I wonder sometimes if I too often end up writing about things more than actually getting out and doing them??
