stop feeling so blue about living in the redneck part of a blue state

outside of the City Hall in Grants Pass last week. What a wonderful thing to see, even though I had to hurry on to work. It brought a huge smile to my face and I waved enthusiastically at everyone at the protest!

I haven’t been as blue about being surrounded by rednecks, since the last election. Even though my neighbors still run around with their Bush stickers on their massive gas-guzzling SUVs, I know I am not alone.
