Despite the time I gave myself, I didn’t reach my ten pound goal before moving to Portland. On the plus side, I haven’t gained any weight, and I have lost five pounds! So at least I’ve been consistent, but just not as much as I was at first. Things have been changing since I’ve moved and my diet is sparkly. My activity isn’t as sparkly yet, but that’s because I haven’t gotten the bike out of storage (we didn’t have a place for it at first). Things will change!
So yes, halfway there! I don’t have a time goal as of yet. We’ll see once I shed off these next five pounds.

I did it—I lost ten pounds. Yesterday I was cleaning the house, and randomly I decided to step on the scale… and to my surprise, I’d really lost it! It’s true that people notice, too. My mom wouldn’t shut up about me looking thinner, and that’s just ten pounds. I refused to acknowledge it until I had proof, however. Just goes to show you want diet and exercise can do.
So, my new goal is to shed ten more pounds. It’ll be harder than the first go, but I think I can do it. I’ll give myself longer to lose the weight this time around, though; I’ll be busy packing and moving. So I’m hoping I will have lost these ten pounds by the time we move to Portland… two months or so.
It feels nice to know I did it, though. :D

My girlfriend gave me some jeans that didn’t fit her about 2 months ago – 8/9’s. I couldn’t get them zipped, and believe me, I jumped up and down trying to.
So I decided they were going to be my “skinny jeans”
Today is the “skinny jeans” day! They zip, button, and fit great (but tight, but they’re those jeans that are supposed to fit tight!)
I have no idea what I weigh. I gave up drinking alcohol except once every few weeks or so. (I used to go out A LOT since I work from home…) I also pretty much live on veggie burgers and rice-bean-cheese-tortilla wraps. (No, I’m not a vegetarian. They’re just easy to make and less fattening than other stuff.)
I want to get down to 6/7 jeans and be more fit in general. This las round of weight loss was mostly due to what I’ve been eating and my workaholism – not a whole lot of exercise. (I walk about twice a week)

Okay I don’t actually give up but I think that I don’t need to lose ten MORE.. It would be nice but I am lifting and I eat alot. So if it happens it happens but I don’t mind if it doesn’t. I’m at 130 lbs so I shouldn’t worry too much!!

I spent all weekend eating and eating nonstop. But now I’m back into the not eating much at school and pracitcing basketball for 2 1/2 hours. I am down to 30.8 lbs (after practice today) and so I guess I am still going. I just wish I wouldn’t have so many parties where there is so much stupid food!!

Well, after a week of eating anything and everything in sight it surprised me that the scale read 201 pounds this morning!
I think what saved me is the fact that I walk my dog Dexter for a brisk 30 minute walk in the morning, exercise an hour in the afternoon, and take a nice relaxing walk with Dexter at night for 45 minutes.
If it wasn’t for all that I bet the scale would be up a few pounds!
5 pounds to go!
