ride in a hot air baloon

I did a bit of research, and there are companies that provide rides as a service. I knew that would be the case; what I did not know is how much it would cost! I guess this is something I’ll have to plan on doing after I’m out of debt. I just know that if I did it now, I wouldn’t be able to enjoy it. All I would be thinking about is how much I spent and what I could have done with that money.

I’m not sure if I will ever get to though. Everyone that I have told about this desire of mine tells me how terrified they are of doing this. I don’t think this would be the kind of thing to experience alone either.

So, really my new goal should be “find new friends that want to ride in a hot air balloon with me”. LOL

I would love to do this in Egypt although I would settle for anywhere!

Honestly, it gets so hot up there in the basket because of the flame, but otherwise it’s cool. Unless, by some horrible coincedence, you’re afraid of them…like me! It’s not the height I’m afraid of…it’s the actual balloon! I can’t stand colors! So I guess for normal people like you, and unlike me, yes, you should want to ride in a hot air balloon! And some day you will.

um. wow. i can’t believe i can say i’ve now done this. about two weeks ago. over luxor and the valley of the kings in EGYPT. my ultimate dream, really. i was SOMEWHAT disappointed, however. but mostly because we didn’t travel far enough into the valley of the kings. but still. so so so worth it.

...it might be because i got motion sickness or something. in the last five mins and it was horrible and i was pale and dizzyingly out of control. it wasn’t really anything special before that anyways. after that we all had a picnic to the new mexico sunset. sunsets make everything better

I was married in a hot air balloon. I’m afraid of heights so I didn’t let them go higher than 1,500 ft in the air…. that I regret. GO ALLLL THE WAY!!!

I took a very special girl hot air ballooning for her birthday. I hope she still remembers it. Remember don’t sit on the edge of the basket .. if you fall it’s a long way down.

hopefully in 08 when i visit australia! though, possibly next year in europe if i can find somewhere to do it?? i’m hoping!
