I do run, but only once in a while. BUT when I do run, it is the most amazing thing in the world. It is the only time in my life that I don’t have to have the RIGHT anwser, I don’t have to answer to a three year old or a husband, I don’t have to be pretty, I don’t have to get it right, I don’t have to cook or clean or do laundry, I just have to run. It is a time to be just me, and at the end of the day, I want to be just me ALL the time.

How I did it: just keep running, I find it easier to do it whilst distracting your mind. Just thinking your fitter and healthy seems todo the job, even more just not thinking much about fitness at all, im not particually an unfit person so I guess I have nothing to worry about. Read how I did it…

I can run two miles, no problem I think. We did start running long distance in soccer but it’s nothing. One problem though is that I hurt my achilles tendon. Like, it’s swollen and it ‘squeaks’. Quite amusing, but it hurts. :/

I’ve been running twice a week for the past fortnight and it’s actually happening. It’s not the commintment I’m struggeling with but the self motivation to keep on going. I think the fact I’m running alone instead of with a friend like before is what I find hard. LOL I guess it helped as I wouldn’t want to look bad in front of the other person. I can mangage just a few minutes at a time however each time I do run I get further and further – which is great as it can only get better no matter how slowly I improve. I’d rather run steadly though than slowly jog I enjoy stepping to the beat and I’m a rock punk fan.

I was running once a week 2 months ago and was manageing 30 minutes non-stop however I sprained my ankle and I’m only getting back into it now.
I made the mistake of running today at 12 O clock – the mid day sun was unbearable so I’ve decided to run in the mornings. I really don’t know how this will go I’m NOT a morning person at all! I’ve set my clock for 6:30am and hope to be out at 7:00am – I’ll run and walk my route and hopefully be home before all th school kids come out to go to school.
wish me luck – :(
P.S – I’m running to get more fitter also I’d like to get into the early morning routine as I’ll have to get used to getting up early for work.

Hmm well I run a lot about twice a week for soccer. That’s good enough for me. I don’t just run, I practice at soccer, but running is definitely included.
Getting in motion is the difficult part. I keep starting and doing it for like a week, but then I skip a day for some reason or another and it just stops. I’m becoming one of those people that irritate me so much; I complain about the imperfections of my body, but I don’t do anything to change it.
Next week, when I won’t be working so much…every day, for two weeks, and then it will be routine.

&& I had no idea I could run a mile with practically no problems.. In under 10 minutes, I’m proud. But I know I’ve still got a lot to improve on. I ran for soccer try-outs, which I made yay!

Uhh. I forgot about this goal. I wanna do it, and I live right by the beach. The only problem is that I’m 15, so I can’t go by myself. Oh, and I hate when people can see me. They just pass by in their car and see me running. I guess that’s my problem, but I don’t know how to NOT care.
And am being more ambitious this time by running further away from my house when I start out because I then Must Run Back. It’s a cunning way of, well, something. I’m not sure what.
Anyway I’m feeling encouraged that although am currently crap I’m not as crap as I thought I would be.
