TracyYonder trying to be present
I read this book twice I loved it so much. It can be, perhaps, a challenge to ‘get into’, but once you start loving Yossarian, you will do nothing but marvel at the wit. A very clever little read.

I’ve wanted to read this book, Catch-22, for over a year now. I just haven’t been motivated to read it enough due to it’s length.
Ok, so I confess I am currently reading it. Im on page 311 out of 400+. I’m having the hardest time getting through it though, which is surprising since I typically love WWII books.
Anyone else feel like this?

I turned this one back into the library. It seemed like an OK book, but it was pretty long and I chose to abandon it because I was only reading it because it is recognized as a classic. To be honest, I don’t really like that many nonfiction books and there is other stuff I’d rather read. But maybe I’ll try again later.

I’ve read about 60 pages of this and I’m not sure if I want to finish it. It’s not really my style and it is a little hard to follow. We will see…
Melissa B. is a "Newness-seeking Self-improving Tree Hugger" . . . or is she? :)
I have this one at home just gathering dust. My new philosophy is: read it or donate it.

Catch 22 is a great book. I laughed so hard through one chapter that I was crying. In other chapters, I was actually crying because it was so sad. One of the best antiwar books ever.

This book was a fantastic read, full of witty humor. I laughed out loud countless times. Some of the characters are ridiculously believable, and I wondered if the author based them on some of my aquaintances. It has a true-to-life feel on which I have a difficult time extrapolating.
