I’d love to join the military. It’s sounds fresh and new I’d love to do either the Army or the Navy. I’d like to mature and see things that I might not normally see.

Do what others have done before me. I’d like to make a career out of it if I can. To live my life for the armed services. I also would like it because I could kill two birds with one stone.

I want that college tution to help me further.

I’d loved to do this with all my heart.

So damn close. Meps in 2.5 hours. For me to wait around for a bit just so I can pick my mos. Hopfully no issues pop up. Anybody have trouble with aims testing? I scored a 31 and I know that’s low, but can anyone tell me of it’s low enough to disqualify me?

After college. And now, during college. I will get in shape so that I can be in the military. Along with doing more research, but research can only take you so far…

Joining the military 14 months ago

I’ve always wanted to join the military, after high school i felt like it was the best option but my parents convinced me not to. Then again after i have graduated from college I still have this feeling that i really want to join, but i’m afraid because i’ve heard how some people joined because they wanted to and have hated it ever since. Right now it would be a good time because i cant find a job that i want to do, and i hate my jobs now.

It better be the only thing you want 17 months ago

I began my application for the RAAF in 2006 and after the subsequent interviews I was given the news that I was it etc. etc. Okay start date… well lets put you in for August 07. “cool, well its only june now. Time to live it up until then”. Well it turned out in all that living it up I met a girl who changed my life. She was moving to London so we both were on our own way. This lead me to a trip to france where I met up with her and decided I wanted more that a life in the military.

Come back home and it’s time to join up. Alright sign on the line and I’ll quit when I get a call from her. As it turns out, quitting is much harder than you would think. I was threatened with prison time and all sorts for my actions. Plus they were pissed off because I was damn good :) Anyhow I was sent to a different group for a few weeks of limbo before hading in my cams and shooting out of there.

So glad I didn’t stay in there. I ended up moving interstate and finding I could get more out of life if I took more risks. Think about a change in your life or your setting before you take the plunge too, because that could benefit you more than what the green boys can offer.

Ten Years of My Life Gone 17 months ago

Since I was a teenager, I wanted to join the military and stand up for my country, the whole patriotic bit. After being told no numerous times because I didn’t have a high school diploma, no GED, single mother, etc., I finally did it. I got my GED, went to college and got my AA degree, married a buddy of mine and joined the Army National Guard. Then we divorced and I continued on in my career. I started as a 62E, heavy equipment operator. I served a tour of duty overseas in Iraq and so much more. Then they kicked me out for bending the same rules that the men do, go figure. The brainwashing is over and I’m done with that crap.
