Visit the twin tower site

pretty good. By the time I went, however, it was just a big construction site… It was bittersweet, to have seen it, but not when it was truly “there”. I want to visit the cnew “Freedom Towers” though!

It was eerily calm when I went. Everyone was really quiet and it just looked so peaceful. Not at all what you would expect. It was one of those moments where everything is so emotional that you don’t really know what to feel.

I grew up in NY and was devastated by what happened. I still haven’t gone back – it still hurts too much too see. One day I will go back.
