buy a good camera

I love taking pictures. But I don’t have a camera that could be considered anywhere near descent. I need to start saying money and get one.

I want a really good one that takes professional quality pictures. Any suggestions.

Herbalife gave me a camera (and an awesome jacket) as a present :)

I got plenty of things to do before thinking on a good camera. I’ll give it low priority and wait for the right moment.

I would like a camera with:

- Decent zoom (btw 6x and 12x)
- Decent resolution (btw 8Mp and 12Mp)
- I would like some pro camera features
- Not as big and expensive as a dSLR and not as small and cheap as an ultra compact.

The one I like the most for now is the Canon Powershot G9 which has great reviews including the fact that has RAW.

However, I heard that the segment of this camera (compact but with advanced controls) will have more options later on this year or in the beginning of the next one, it’s ok because I don’t have the money yet.

I was excited with this goal and started looking for a “good camera”. I thought it shouldn’t be so hard to find one since it was just a camera but what a mistake … turns out that I was more newbie than I thought and it takes lots of researching to know at least a little of photography (not the kind of taking hundreds of pictures of you, messing around with your friends at some party, not that one).

I guess I will start from the bottom: the theory and let models, prices and reviews for later.

I love photography and I miss having a good camera. I also dislike asking people to borrow me their cameras and most of them really sucks (cheap stuff).

I’ve missed great shots because of not having something decent with me, that’s why I’ve decided that, even being deeply broke, I will get a good camera.

I’ve just bought the Canon 450D. I’m the happiest I’ve ever been concerning photography.

I am thinking of buying a camera for the past one year but not able to do so. Want to save money for the next two months and then i will buy a one for me and them i can click some and post those in my blog.

so i’m off to a camera shop to get some information on what kind of camera to buy. digital is important so i can save everything, but less romantic.

there’s something nostalgic about using a roll of film, waiting for it to develop it and holding my breathe until i see if my amazing shot actually came out instead of being able to delete hundreds of pictures that aren’t very good.

i’ll keep my old faithful nikon, but i’m ready for something new, too.
