Plant a tropical garden

I’m planning a tropical garden for this spring and summer. Right now I have 7 Musa Basjoo (banana) seedlings on my kitchen table. I’m keeping them warm with a heat lamp and giving them about 15 hours of plant light a day. They’re cuties! They’re supposed to be hardy enough to make it through our zone 5 winter!

My other plans are canna, impatiens, torch lily and some others. Here’s a link to some of the plants I have or am considering…

started re-potting some of the mail order plants I sent for. Some need a little more growth until I can put them in the ground.

The plants are slowly arriving through mail order. Now to re-pot or plant in the perfect place.
