I passed Part 2 in October after attending a workshop and studying, studying, studying. Then I signed up for Part 1 and passed that in November. I am so excited to pass Part 3 and am so ready to take the exam but I couldn’t get an exam date until December 30, 2009. I’m 2/3 finished!
How to pass the Enrolled Agents exam
How I did it: I signed up for a workshop and the first thing the instructor said was "if you think you CAN'T, then just give up now". She said it is doable, you just have to put in the time to study and have CONFIDENCE. Although she did give us pointers, like what areas to study heavily, I do think that one needs to study and stop worrying so much. I also studied using a CD that uses questions from prior years' tests, read IRS Publications, instructions to forms, and became familiar with the various forms.

So this is a goal where I haven’t made too much progress. As a matter of fact I passed the first part and gave up. I got lazy and I got scared, scared of failing, scared of trying and failing. Well I decided to pick myself up again. I attended a workshop and have the confidence and motivation to start studying again. I WILL pass Part 2 and then work on passing Part 3.
