have managed to catalog ~800 books. I sure as heck hope I don’t have many more to go! I ran out of shelf space long ago and am storing in bins. When I’m all done cataloging, and I know what duplicates I have and which books to get rid of, I’ll sell ‘em off and whittle the collection down to just the gems.
Readerware Software has been wonderful to work with, even my 1900’s books can be cataloged easily using the software and alibris or half.com! Modern books with barcode ISBN are a breeze.
And librarything.com has been great for information too. Only problem is you can acquire books there, too! EEEK.
