10 – 15 of us girls get together and sing barbershop—as a four-part chorus. A few diehards have actually formed quartets, but that takes additional practice… Now I’ve decided to try some arranging, but it’s more complicated than I thought! Anyway, sing on!

...incredibly complicated considering that it is only four people singing acapella. Music that is heavy on harmony is, in general, a favorite of mine. I even enjoy listening to the odd Christian group, though I am not a fan of religious music.
If you haven’t heard much of it, I recommend The Nylons, Rockappella, and Acapella to start with. If you are a member of the teenage female set, Boyz II Men has some good stuff, too.
