A local BIG name office chain is closing it’s stores near us so all of their stuff is marked down. Went in there today and got some fine linen card and envelope blanks for dirt cheap!! $4.00 for a pack of 20 cards and envelopes and they are the ones that normally are around $16.00 or more for only 12. SO I bought them all and this month will be my official launching of this goal. I have birthdays GALORE this month so everybody is going to get a card from my new line. Yes I will post pics of what they look like since so many people have asked and I have yet to find where my others are packed away at.
I need to create my signature logo too and decide if I want to keep the name I’ve used in the past or go with a more general name. Hmmm…must think this out, but I’m so excited!!! :D

My husband and I were traveling to a Marine Corps League meeting yesterday and as we passed through this one town I noticed they had a great art display of frogs. Yes frogs…like those famous painted traveling cows.
So I got some great shots. I could see putting together a whole line of notecards witht the different frogs on them. I could call it Ribbits. :D

Well I tinkered around on the computer with some samples. Hmmm….not bad…..I think I need to invest in a program like photoshop though. Might make it easier to edit onto stationary etc. Although so far I kind oflike the way they are turning out. :)

Well I’ve already had a small boutique tell me they will carry my line of products once I get it started. So now I just have to figure out how to do this cost effectively. I want to make stationery,matching envelopes,cards,envelope seals,labels,notepads,magnets,etc using my photography as the subject matter. I already have ideas for the line and how it could even expand…..but I need to find the time to actually start putting it all together. I would like to be a stay at home mom once I have children so I will need a dependable job I can do from home. This is not only that, but it’s something I love…....so we shall see.
