I got some clothes and a bathing suit and used my re-usable bag.
I think this is good enough to mark complete. Whenever I go out I’m CONSTANTLY conscious of not using a plastic bag and ONLY use one when I can’t carry it and don’t have a reusable.

My dad and I went grocery shopping and managed to not use ONE plastic bag! (well they wrapped some meat in one, but that doesn’t count) ((well it does but shh))

I successfully avoided a plastic bag today when I bought some clothes from the thrift store.
I get a gold star. *

I haven’t used a new plastic bag in two months!
On more than one occasion I have forgotten my bags but just put my shopping back in the trolley and into my car loose.
I’ll leave it here for a little longer though…

I went to the mall with my mom. I bought a LOT of stuff. And I mean a lot. I managed to only use two bags. I would really have rathered none, but I used my big purse (which doesn’t have a reusable bag in it). I could only fit so much in and I needed two bags for two shoe boxes and one for two dress, two shirts and a hoodie. I guess not too bad but I seriously want to drop that number down to zero.

I haven’t actually taken a plastic bag for god knows how long. I’ve bought a few reusable bags and I have been keeping them in the garage, in my car, and in my purse. That way, I always have one somewhere. However, I do need to start bringing more bags to the grocery store because I end up running out of my reusable ones.

I was doing well with this but forgot my bags on two occasions.
Still, it was only 4 bags! I just want to get it down to 0 for a couple of months running.

I’ve tried to do this for a while, but I forgot a lot of times to put the bags back in the car or to carry them into the shop with me. Now that I’m more organized and only going shopping once a week instead of randomly stopping at the store every other day, it’s much easier to remember the bags. Yay!

Being a girl it is a necessity that I carry around a HUMUNGULOID bag wherever I may go, for without one I may perish. So refusing plastic bags from shops has never really been an issue unless I fail to fit the gazillion amounts of crap that I buy into my satchel. However, food shopping was a different story. I did convert to big tote bags and those bags for life jobbies that tear as soon as they contain anything with edges, but I have now gone one step better! I realised that why go all the way to the shops when I could just get my necessities delivered straight to my door!? Hurrah I hear you cry! Unfortunately the first time I got my shopping delivered it arrived in bags… in boxes. Hmmm. Doesn’t make much sense to me, but that’s how they came. Now I opt out for the bags and the lovely man/lady that delivers my food helps me carry it up the stairs and ALL THE WAY into the kitchen and even helps me unload. Now that’s service ladies and gents, and I always get a smile.

quaneE deciding where to focus the energies next.
I got an awesome bag that fits in my purse and I’ve been using it everywhere. As for the grocery bags I’ve only remembered a few times to put my cloth ones back in the car, but I’m getting better. I’m not going to consider this one done yet, not until I remember every time.
