How to get new lenses for my glasses by what would memily do?

"Cheated - got new frames, too."

How I did it: I actually ended up getting new frames, too, for a couple of reasons.

  1. My old frames were pretty much busted.
  2. New frames were an exciting concept.


And that was back at the beginning of July. 43T Update Fail.

    These look far better on my face than my last belove`d pair.  It is odd to be able to see again, but I shan’t complain!  The only problem is that I needed bifocals and the doctor did not give them to me, so I have to switch between my old pair for reading and these for everything else.

    Next step: contact lenses!

    I’ve needed new lenses in my glasses for way too long. I can’t see as great as I would be able to if i filled my new prescription and i get alot of headaches. Ultimately i want to keep my frames, have them cleaned and put new lenses in and get those fashionable “over Rx sunglasses” which fit over my regular glasses and are hip, i might (by default) be part of the large sunglass cult group.

    This is going to cost me around $400. I went in for an eye test on Saturday. Which I guess is the first step, so hooray for that! As far as finding a spare $400 goes… :/
