Live with my partner

Its wonderful.

screws you up when your partner is 18,
but i love him,
i want to be with him,
forever.

Right now I’m not far from her (I’m on Vancouver Island, she’s in Washington) but I need to save up some money, or at least find a reasonable place to stay, before going back to her.

He’s coming up after Christmas Break.

This is a great period in my life—I’m clearing away lots of doubt and uncertain activity, and simply claiming the things I want with secure knowledge that I can have them. Not so much worry, or holding back for fear of ruining something, not so much the wishing it didn’t count, or tentatively venturing forth only to lose footing. I’m simply doing it. Hell yeah, I can get a PhD (not to mention select a PhD program from the many, and understand the full implications of the underpinnings of this program versus others), and hell yeah, I can live with the man I love without worrying that somehow I’ll damage the relationship or that the pressure of worrying about it will paralyze me, or that I have to constantly prove myself or be other than I am simply to maintain it. I’ve earned my own high regard (though sometimes it does slip away for a while!).

I was so commitment-shy but now I couldn’t imagine living any other way.

I love my boyfriend but now is too much early for go to live together….
One day, maybe, we’ll live together…happy and in love.
