I just ate there the other day with my mom and my husband. This was for sure worth it, the meals were amazing, and so different than food you usually see from day to day. Loved it!

One month from today! I called as they opened, exactly one month (the earliest they take reservations) before the Saturday we wanted to go. I had 45 minutes of redialing and getting a busy signal, but they finally picked up! I’m really excited!

I have eaten at Chez Panisse twice ( once in their upstair’s cafe) and once for a dinner downstairs. I wasn’t really impressed with the food. As I get older, I am starting to realize that some of the best restaurants never receive the recognition they deserve. Maybe because they are small or aren’t hooked into the schmooze game. I think if you are into food you should try everything at least once which is why I am recommending you eat Chez Panisse. Zuni Cafe in San Francisco is much, much better!
