I have kept up being good more or less, have signed up at a gym where I work out twice a week and make numerous other sacrifices but the mummy tummy remains. My dietician suggested trying to reduce carbs, not cut them out completely just reduce them drastically coz one thing i do love is rice and bread. Actually, that makes two things I really love. Anyway, I’m trying to implement that. It’s a much bigger sacrifice than I thought. I always thought I was a die-hard chocoholic and that that would be my downfall. I never suspected that reducing rice and bread would be so much harder than reducing chocolate.

Have been working on eating healthy. During my pregnancy, I couldn’t stomach normal sized meals so I got used to nibbling on things all the time. Now I’m not pregnant any longer and yet the nibbling continues unabated. I’ve tried really hard to get it under control but somehow that tack doesn’t seem to be working. So I’m attacking the problem from another angle. I’m keeping all sorts of healthy nibbles around: carrot sticks, celery sticks, chopped fruit etc. It works just as well. It sure as hell beats looking at the snack cupboard sadly every other half hour and trying to come up with good reasons not to have another cereal bar.
