    Couch! 18 months ago

    I’ve found the one I want, it’s just going to take awhile to get the money to pay for it. I’m hoping it will go on sale or something.

    This is why I’ve been working a second job. I’ve chosen a color that’s a darker green, sort of like a sage. And the chaise will have to be on the other end, because of my living room configuration.

    sabryn okay...how about a calm December?

    Extremely broke now 19 months ago

    (at least until next weekend, when I get paid and R pays me back the money he owes me)...but I finally have a new couch! Well, I will next weekend, anyway. And the nice guy at Goodwill told me he’d take mine off my hands if I brought it in. R works next Saturday, so I may have to deal with two couches until he can come over and help me take the old couch to Goodwill, but still…

    Why is this taking so long? What is the problem? 3 years ago

    Okay, after 2 stinking Futons, i am ready to get a real friggin’ couch, okay? The 1st Futon was when we would have the boys over (the “boys without dads” club) so they could all fit on it & stay up late watching scarey movies. Don’t know why I let D talke me into another after that. Well now – I want a real honest to goodness couch. I’m tired of having people come over & I have to have them sit on the “jail cot” as I’ve so fondly named it. I said last year at tax time we would get a new one, but all of the other 900 things that needed taken care of came first. This coming tax season, God willing, it’s all about the couch.
