sew more clothes

One thing I want to make is a waist cincher/corset-style belt. It will be made out of cloth (like cotton) and look like a wide belt, but with corset-style laces that can be worn in front or back. I think it will help dress up ordinary shirts, dresses, or outfits.

I got a new sewing machine for christmas. It is very nice!
Now I’m working on a gown, I designed myself. It is very neat. I burnt it a little with the iron, but I don’t think it’s going to show. Guess my next goal is to learn to iron… It’s a bit pathetic

Is it really called crochet? My dictionary says so, so I guess it must be right…
I haven’t sewn anything for a while (not even my boyfriends broken pants – he ended up repairing them himself) but I have learned på knit (I am working on a shawl now) and I have also taught myself to crochet. I am trying to make a very cool bikini, I’ve seen in a book from the library.
I know, I’m turning into an old woman now, but that’s just the way it goes. It’s my 24’th birthday in 3 days…
