    in a moment of bitterness, when I wasn’t really seeing the best sides of one or two people. But I don’t want to be bitter – I really do want to see the best in people.

    to just ‘look for the best in people’, as the last bit was added with some bitterness and would doom the goal to failure before I’ve even begun.
