Ive been thinking about doing something like this for a while. I think its a bit ambitious, but want to know if you think it can be done. The idea is to travel across America, stopping at at least one place in EVERY SINGLE STATE, by Greyhound bus. For obvious reasons, EVERY SINGLE STATE in this case will probably mean every single one apart from Alaska and Hawaii, but I think every mainland state is pretty good going! But having just printed out a huge map of the US, I’m realising its very very complicated and difficult to find a route that encompasses every state, let alone all the places that i really want to visit. In some states, i dont mind where i go, but there are some states where there are specific goals and a few where there are more than one. If this idea interests anyone, please get in touch, I could use some advice! MSN is luke_hearn@hotmail.co.uk
Thanks
So I had a blast this weekend visiting my husband at the New London Navy base while he’s in sub school! I got to see some amazing things and I fell in love with the eastcoast here (says the girl from the state of Washington). So now I can cross Connecticut, Rhode Island, and Massachusetts off my list! I’ll be sure and post sme pictures of my trip as soon as I upload them to my computer!
I have been to all but 2 or 3 and want to finish. I believe I have only missed Alaska and Arkansas.
I spent some time in Georgia yesterday on my connecting flight. Only 34 more states to go!
1. Washington
2. Tennessee
3. Louisiana
4. Mississippi
5. Illinois
6. Alabama
7. Florida
8. Texas
9. California
10. Oregon
11. Colorado
12. Montana
13. Idaho
14. Wyoming
15. Utah
Wow 15/50 is a good start!
I want to see them all by age 50, basically a new state each year.
