or any other cheap accesories store
they all do it with the peircing gun that is perfect for earlobes
but is totaly WRONG for cartiladge
the amount of pressure the spring loaded guns use will actually SHATTER your cartilage and could possibly deform your ear
if a cartilage peircing is on your to-do list get it done by a professional peircer who uses needles
[personaly i had a friend do it with professional grade needles and it stopped hurting in 3 days and i could sleep on it in less than a week (and i’m a big baby when it comes to pain)]

When I got my cartilage pierced, I was so excited. I had wanted one for a while and finally it was happening. I went through months of sleeping on the side opposite of the piercing, cleaning it daily, showering and shampooing so I didn’t get any soap into my piercing and many other tasks. Now, I regret it. I have a bump (hypothyroid scar) behind my piercing that I have been trying to get rid of for the longest time. Also, it’s really hard to make it look formal. I mean, sure it looks good when you’re just hanging out in your regular clothes, but when you pair it with an updo and a formal dress, it looks childish. I’m planning to remove the piercing once I get rid of the bump, but if that takes too long, I’m going to have to live with it. Either way, I DON’T WANT TO KEEP MY CARTILAGE.

I had mine done with a gun (all three of my other housemates also had it done) I didnt even feel it being done and although it stings slightly after for a few days its hardly excruciating. One of my housemates did get an infection though so my only advice would be keep up the after care!
