get a cartilage piercing

I just got my two cartilage piercings today.(One on each side)
Got it done at Claires…
Let me tell you,didnt hurt at all.
Theres a little pain for like 2 seconds and then its gone.
I really love how they look and I recomend it to anyone to wants to get cartilage piercing.
I have double cartilage,and I recomend that too

I’ve got my helix.. and did want rook but not sure – that’s a lot of crunch!! Any one with it done?

I had mine done with a gun (all three of my other housemates also had it done) I didnt even feel it being done and although it stings slightly after for a few days its hardly excruciating. One of my housemates did get an infection though so my only advice would be keep up the after care!

I had mine done five weeks ago at a tattoo parlor. I was TERRIFIED but it wasn’t bad at all! I didn’t sleep on it for the first three weeks or so, and it’s still a little tender to sleep on, but overall not too bad. It only hurts if I bump it too hard.

Be CAREFUL combing your hair, lol! I lost the ball that holds the hoop together the second day when I caught my comb in it. I had to go back and have it replaced.

Overall, as long as you have it done with a needle, you shouldn’t have any problems. I won’t straight up say having it done with a gun is absolutely going to turn out badly, but…it kinda seems that doing it with a needle works a lot better. The pain was minimal and they also use stainless steel, which is excellent if you’re like me and allergic to EVERYTHING.

I got the cartilage double pierced on both sides about 2 weeks ago. There is no infection and I am keeping up on the after care. I had them pierced with a gun at the mall. I also had them pierced with extra long posts to allow room for the swelling and extra room to be able to clean them well. The problem is that I am having ALOT of pain when i try to lay on my side especially at bed time. It didnt start hurting til the day after I got them pierced. I really like the piercings but I am at my wits end with the pain.

I REALLY want this! But I play a lot of sport at school and lots of them I’m not aloud to wear any earrings or jewellery. So I dunno when to get it done… :(
