spend free. i think there were a few days in between this one and my last post for this goal, but i usually forget to record them. probably not one a week. the main thing that’s getting in the way of my achieving this goal is that i don’t plan what i’m going to eat and just shop once a week for food – i end up popping to the shops quite often for one or two items, and of course end up leaving with more than i went in for. so that’s going to be a new goal for me – planning. good for my budget and my waistline!

This sounds like a genius idea. Having at least 1 “spend free” day would be putting quality back to life.
Today I spent no money! Yea!!! I’m going to have to get gas tomorrow…. bah humbug….there goes fifty bucks quick….
I do need to keep up with this goal. I think it would help me not stop for the things I don’t really need if I am tracking it.

I haven’t really been doing this. I’ve been cutting down on my spending (for other reasons) but I always manage to spend at least a little every day.

but I made up for it by spending way too much over the weekend!

This goal would be a lot easier if I didn’t have such an insane coffee habit. Several days a week, I don’t spend money on anything except for my morning mocha on the way to work. It hard to get going at 5:30am. I finally set up the fancy espresso machine that had been sitting in my trunk for the past 6 months and we’ll see if that makes any difference.

As long as I don’t stop for coffee on my way to work every day, I do pretty well with this goal. I’ll leave it up for a bit more and try to keep track of the days.
