Do great teachers long for Christmas break?

This is a prety obvious goal since i am in teachers college, and interested in doinng the job as well as possible.

My plan is to do well this last semester of uni, and suppliment this learning with additional reading about the buisness of teaching. A part time job somehow in the feild would be great.

Glad I am choosing this vocation over buisiness or worse.

But next year, it looks like I am actually staying at the same school and with the same team. For once, I get to learn from my mistakes. I am fairly excited about this, though this isn’t necessarily my favorite of the three schools I have had the honor of teaching at. Note: innercity schools are challenging places to teach in/be in, but they are some of the most fulfilling places to be at for the same reason. Now, I am teaching at a suburban school in a college-town. Someone said these are entitled kids with entitled parents. Anyway, they are all challenging in their own way. And I want to be a good teacher for these wonderful kids. Next year, I’ll start a student newspaper again. Maybe I should start talking to the sixth graders about this now. And I want to go see them anyway. Since that’s who I will be teaching come September.
