How to see Aurora Borealis
How I did it: I got a job working seasonally in Denali, AK. At the end of the season, it was getting dark and we saw the northern lights. You can apply for one of these seasonal jobs at coolworks.com
=)
Lessons & tips: work hard and don't break rules so you don't get fired before the end of season.
Resources: the job really did it all for me.

iwishiwasdead think before you act because your thoughtless actions hurt me.
i want to be there
i want to feel its magic on my skin
i want to hear the solar winds collide with the magnetosphere
i want to escape in its beauty
and i want to be so close that i feel like i could caress its jumping flames of color
i want it to burn into my memory forever
and i want to name my first daughter after it
i want to see them shine/ like heavens sending us a sign/ she didnt have to tell me/ her feelings were the same as mine

I have been reading “The Golden Compass.” It is a great story that is based around it…and this makes me want to see it more.

You don’t have to go all the way to Alaska for this (although it happens more frequently way up north).
I’ve gone camping in central Ontario (Huntsville area) and have seen them. We laid on a footbridge and watched them for an hour.
Very gorgeous.
=)
I think they’re like amazing, magical, they inspire you, all the colors, ´´floating´´… I’ve never seen them but I hope one day I will =]
