I adopted this goal because I have only heard negative comments about Wicca, coming from people with mainly conservative Christian backgrounds. I know these comments are biased, so I’d rather read books by Wiccans to learn about their point of view. I don’t necessarily want to practice Wicca, but I want to know more about it, just like I have studied other religions/ways of thinking. So far it’s been pretty positive, and I’ve even learned how to ‘ground’ myself, which has helped in my energy work.
How to learn more about Wicca
How I did it: I saught out a Teaxher and I studied. I read books, but more valuable to me was the guidence of my Teacher.
I learned what ritual was and then I wroye rituals- read spells and wrote them peacticed and attended the 8 Festivals. Loved and embraced the Gods. Wicca is a Religion without a devil, without suffering save that we bring on ourselves I learned how freeing it is to proclaim with Swinbourne,
"Mother,not Maker,
Born. and not made".
Lessons & tips: I am a Teacher of my Tradition (Like a denomination), I can advise and teach.and if./when appropriate, Initiate.
Resources: Witchvox.com and Covenant of the Goddess for networking Gardner,Ferrar,Valiente, Sanders and Fitch for books

Nature has always sang to me in a way that my parents religion never did. Although, it’s not easy to find a mentor to give my learning structure. I try to feed my knowledge through books but i find the best guide to be a walk in the park or a stroll through the rain. Still, I’m not making much progress. Any ideas?
