I love it in my foods…I LOVE cooking with it. Made an awesome beef roast last night with it & I never make a pasta sauce without it. But oOoh can’t drink it lol at all. Tried yet again and Ugh! Fuchie la! I think I’ll just stick to cooking with it!

born and raised…yet the only way I can take my wine is in my food. Why? Maybe it’s because of all the years my uncles came home from the wineries smelling like sour grapes? I dunno lol but I’d truly love the chance to go wine tasting & really give myself the chance to learn about wine & hopefully eventually love it.

Funny thing, at my old job I actually had to take a wine class to learn about all the wines we would have in our place…lol I thought it was torture! haha but since then I’ve learned to like the taste in my foods…so I’m improving some.

I can appreciate it enough to know that I like it but I’m still working on the part where you can tell one from another. It’s a process I rather enjoy!

oh, wine... 2 years ago

My friend introduced me into this fascinating field and it is really worth it. I have always enjoyed wine, but now I have better understanding especially when I am choosing it. I defintely prefer red to white :-)

At least for white and rose wine. I’ll still pass for red wine but that is good enough for me :)

wine just seems sooo sophisticated. and people who drink it are therefore sophisticated…Right???Well I want to like it. unfortunately, I just dont. I want to though. Maybe I just havent found the RIGHT wine…

I think this was one of those goals that we put up because we think we should, not because we really want to… I don’t know a shiraz from a cab sav, which can be a bit embarrassing (the Australian bourgeoisie can be terrible wine snobs), but I think i’d rather just fumble through they try to cultivate an interest… i don’t give enough of a toss about this one, I’m afraid!

A certain well known book about French women has totally got me fasinated about Champagne. Ok- so I was fasinated before, but in a different way! I would so dig a bottle of VC for my birthday. In my dreams.
