sew more

So I can sew ok, but I want to improve my skills and make some better things! The only things I’m interested in sewing are cosplay/goth loli/dresses.

I just need to get my arse in gear and stop being so bloody lazy!

i keep adding craft shows to my roster, it means that i’m sewing ALL the time. 50 hours a week. i’ve had enough sewing!

Simplicity 7189

i kind of have always wanted to be a fashion desighner. ive only made 3 things with a sewing machine in my life. a pillow when i was younge, a simple handbag for a school project, and a dress for a different school project. i think there good considering i made them for school, and it took me onley about one day. i would like to do something like it again, only be more precise and detailed, and make more.

I made an outfit that is a greenish blue with gold accents. It is a jacket and skirt and I got the pattern from vogue. I made it at school. I want to sew at home but I don’t have the nice serger oh well.

3 squares finished , if I stay on schedule I will have a new coverlet by May 30th!

What’s the point of having a goal to “sew” more, if I have no impending need for crooked curtains, or trapezoid pillows? ehehehe

I enjoy sewing so much, but have run out of time to do it. It’s become expensive and I don’t have a good fabric shop around. I’d love to get some great summer clothes made for the kids

i made the charlie bag from burdastyle.com. it’s very roomy and will be great for putting my groceries in.

i was pretty stressed out in the beginning with cutting (can’t cut fabric for shit), pinning, and even sewing it. but after a while all ran smoothly and i was able to relax.

i will be making more of these. i got my eye on a skirt pattern next.
