I want to rock! (Thank you Twisted Sister)

So, I’m putting this on the backburner… I still wanna ROCK!! LOL – someday, at least!!

But for now, independent living (away from my parents or other relatives) seems a priority…

& we can focus on ROCKING later!! ;))

So, amazingly, I looked up an online Bible version (Bono is reading the Bible, so I must too!!;))

& it said to me: ‘Lillies of the Valley’... & seek & work for ‘kingdom of God’ & life & all you need will be given to you…

Now that makes sense, somewhat: if you seek the greater good of all, isn’t it true that the Universe (& most well-meaning people) will be on your side?

& what is ‘kingdom of God’ but ‘greater good of all’ – wellbeing, health, living in environmentally healthy circumstances… friendship, respectful togetherness, good stuff…

I don’t see how that opposes the ‘rockstar’ world view… We are all stars if we let the light within us shine & embrace our core values & goodness…

There is some bad stuff connected with rock’n’roll & arts & artists, but isn’t there such defamation of popes from certain centuries too, rulers & monarchs & politicians as well…?
Some doctors or scientists (or priests) abuse power, but are all doctors or scientists (or priests) bad? don’t think so…
Even teachers or regular plumbers or factory workers can abuse wives or children, or do unworthy deeds… Does that mean all teachers or plumbers are bad?

Jovanotti saw ‘rockstar’ or ‘DJ’/rapper (basically, himself) as ‘high priest of the soul’ – or something like that…

Santana saw himself as ‘ultimate shaman’ trying to establish a ‘communion of the soul with the transcendental’ or something like that with his music…

Music can go to untold heights (or lows, true) – & it is up to the person how to use it responsibly (hopefully…)
& sometimes the power can get out of hand, like all powers… (Power is alluring…)

There was a site that said, ‘Why isn’t there more good music?’ Lyrics with empowering message can ‘brainwash’ thoughts of young people most effectively… in a good way… Yet so much music nowadays is ‘whining’ or feeling ‘dependant from loved one’ or such… In my music /& songs/ I seek enlightenment, going from black into the light (I do whine occasionally, but very occasionally, & only as a means of ‘cleansing’ myself of the feelings & going forward & being happy & ‘new’ again…)

I do fear of getting ‘caught up’ in the feelings occasionally… But that isn’t entirely the songs’ fault…
/& there is always that option of ‘turning off’ the button!!/

So, I’m recording some songs in near future, & feeling very frightened.. But this extract gives me hope… ;)))

I think I have started to ROCK!

Hanging out with the band, writing songs someone’s promised to put to music & perform – how COOL is that??!! YEAH!!

It would be good to lose my photo-& camera-phobia (very frightening!!) & somehow unbecoming for, uhm, a ROCK star – no?!! ;)

It’s the Merry December, & I don’t give a damn!! (In the past, I had frantic NY-phobia, at times!!) But not this year!! – I feel at ease with Life, the Universe, & everything!!

These are the Cinnamon Days indeed!!! ;) YEAH!!!

I decided I need an entry on what it would be ‘to ROCK’...

Hmm… It would be, basically, achieveing all my dreams & goals… & having GREAT fun all along!

Which is probably absolutely impossible, but here we go.

I would earn INSANE amounts of money by
writing BESTSELLER books (also critically acclaimed)
& actually enjoying the writing process etc. (hmm…??!!)

being a ROCKSTAR – of course – my whiney or unbearably silly cheerful/agressive rockstar lyrics would be sung all over the world, and fans would faint at my concerts and invite me to be best friends forever and sleep on their sofa if I ever make it to Nicaragua, or so

I could buy my parents a MANSION & live on royalties alone… I’d have IMMENSE accounts of passive income, and set up a hospital in Africa, or two

I would live in a MANSION myself!! Or a CASTLE, at least for some of the time!! & would have a fancy chic flat in London to, & places to sleep in Paris, NY, Arizona, LA, at the seaside (possibly South France), Madrid, Greece… (a sofa or a flat, don’t care)

I would be brave enough to do what I actually want to do, & not be chicken anymore ;)

I would also earn HILARIOUS amounts of money with my Art!!
(which would be amazingly eco-friendly, excellent feng shui, & great fun – to do & sell & just to look at!)

I would also travel all over the world and have friends in EVERY country in the world!

Oh, and we’d manage to ban incinerators & go ZERO WASTE, as a planet!
China, India, Japan & the rest would accept environmentally healthy ways of production, be excellent about human rights too, & their products would be absolutely 100% safe for consumers.

New enviromentally healthy ways of energy would be discovered and implemented – every household could be self sufficient (revolution in solar energy and other means of energy production)

The richest & most influential people & companies & countries in the world would go for ZERO WASTE & environmentally healthy living!!
