Discover things that make me happy.

On Saturday afternoon, I attended the culminating worship service for a special workshop that was offered by our church. I took part singing with the choir. I enjoyed the event and got to hear our moderator give the message, too. The man seems so down to earth and has faced serious personal illness during his tenure.

80. When I cook/ bake something and it truns out really well. I think this is my creative outlet!

79. Looking back over my ‘Done’ list and reminding myself how far I’ve come.

76. That my place of work has values and processes which I believe in. The environmental policies, the importance put on staff personal developement, and the strive for the best possible equality and disability enablement for all staff and students, its all stuff that makes me proud to work for them.

75. A real good belly laugh, laughing til it hurts.

74. Meeting and chatting to nice people on a night out. Sometimes there’s no atmosphere and other than the group you’re with no-one makes any effort, but then sometimes, like last night, a whole room of complete strangers are having a laugh and being friendly.

Our Christian modern rock band played two songs in church today for Palm Sunday. I think the spirit moved us.

We had a guest vocalist sing, “Above All.” (Michael Smith) L has such a powerful and lovely voice. Her emotions gush out in her singing. :) For our second song, Peter and I sang “By His Wounds” (Mac Powell and Third Day). We were happy to be able to be a part of the worship service.
