Have 6 months of salary in savings

This is so important – the past couple of months have been rather expensive – had to move house (not our choice, landlord selling up) and buy new furniture because we went from a furnished house to a completely unfurnished one, then I had a rather large dental bill to pay after two teeth decided to break within a couple of weeks of each other, and now our car has packed up so we will need to buy a new one…we have cash to cover all of this but now our savings are severely depleted so it feels almost like I am starting again, but I will get there! 18 months ago

but then we had to pay our damn property taxes :( 5 years ago
