start saying no

I either say yes with a smile on my face when I know I can’t or don’t want to, or I say no with out saying no (oh I’m more confusing then you think);this has resulted in a loss of a really good friend. I don’t mind saying yes but I need to learn to say no when the circumstances call for it.

Today i made a stupid mistake of not being able to say no to giving my ex a ride to her house. Of course this just resulted in more heart ache and drama. I need to stop letting her walk all over me, she already used me before. i am not going to be there for her anymore, she should turn to her new boyfriend for that crap.

i am so getting there. i will not let her convince me my life is shit, and instead i will listen to my idol beth who says i should listen to the people who actually care about me alot. i am so saying yes to that and learning to say no to her :)

I recently got some good advice that told me to start saying NO to people. I think i do not say the word enough and i think my girlfriend takes advantage of that. If i can start saying NO then maybe i can start feeling better about myself.

I think this wont be easy, but i will stay strong to not doing things i don’t want to do, be it drive people places, buy her things, or just things i am not comfortable with. I think i can do this and it would be a good confidence builder for me too i think….
