so my best friend and her sister recently moved to melbourne and asked me to go with them. it took me a while to get the nerve to say yes but i finally did, booked my tickets last week and fly out to australia in a month.
i’m spending a few weeks in perth with my family over christmas and new year and will be heading off to melbourne after that! i’ve got a ticket booked to come home in july but imagine i’ll change that.
hoping to find a decent job, somewhere nice to stay and make as much work as i can while i’m out there. london is great but i definitely need a change of scenery and as one direction so eloquently say “tonight let’s get some, and live while we’re young.” 6 months ago

So my first visit to aus was almost 2 yrs ago, and I’m just longing to get baaack! twas just so.. different from finland. with all the kangaroos an koalas. and the awesome people! anyhow.. thought I could try spending a whole exchange year there if possible when I start at the uni.. OR this another even more awesome possibility I found: an organization called “work & travel company” provide these “working holidays” in australia (or new zealand), which are pretty much like I fly there, do some work and then be free to go anywhere I want! thats the dream.. to go from place to another, stay there for a while and then hit the road again.. and gradually explore the whole aus (8 so me and one very good friend of mine thought we could do that together some day (she’s probably even bigger aussie-fan than I, although she’s never been there) and I really hope we do.. though I wouldnt mind going on my own (: 12 months ago

I grew up in Adelaide with my family but we moved to the United States when I was in middle school. I haven’t been back but I miss it so much. Hopefully, after college I am going to move back. Even if I don’t move though, I still need to visit everyone. 17 months ago

I started a savings account especially for this. :) I’l go back even if I takes years and years! I miss the sunshine and my friends/
I lived there for 2.5 years studying as a international student at CQAustralia University in Rockhampton Queensland. I believe it was called CQU back then, but I need to get my degree (they’ve neglected to send it) so why not make a special trip for it yes :P 2 years ago
