Have been doing this heaps. Love the endorphin rush, love the fact that it makes me more grounded. Will keep doing this!

week 4 2 years ago

I bought a bicycle this weekend and I’ve been running three times a week. I’m trying to add a long bike ride and weight training.

Just started 3 years ago

My sister and I have recently started to exercise and we feel so good. We’re getting up really early to start, but I already feel like I have more energy. The only time I feel tired is when I’m nursing my boy. I have to force myself to go to sleep at night. My sister on the other hand has been having no problem falling asleep at night, and she had insomnia before we started to exercise. Not only does it keep you fit and healthy, it helps regulate your lifestyle, and gives you confidence. It also makes it easier to eat healthy, why work so hard to lose weight or stay slim when you’re eating donuts?

On Friday. I know that I have said a million times before that I was going to do this, but I actually started this week, and am feeling pretty good about it.
My abs are killing me, so I didnt do anything yesterday, and I might only be able to get through the 20 minute DVD tonight, but I am going to do something.
I’m just such a baby!

I totally suck at this 3 years ago

I am a procrastinator for sure, and it is so freaking hard to get motivated. I set up these goals, and then forget about them entirely. I am so addicted to my diet, and have such rigid control over it (I love it), why cant I be the same with excercise?
Ideas?

I have an addiction 3 years ago

I have an addictive personality, and currently my addiction leads me to my laptop, and the internet.
Why can’t I get addicted to excercise, why, WHY???
I hate it, I just hate it. I want to love it, I do.

Join a martial-arts class! 3 years ago

If you are having a hard-time being motivated, join a martial-arts or self-defense class (one that gives you a good workout) for at least two-days a week, then you only have one other day to work out on your own!

Who da man??? 3 years ago

Not so much... 3 years ago

But I think about it a lot, and I feel that I will start soon. I am getting to the point where I am tired of being lazy. I need to move and stretch. I have a housemate going to India for 6 months so there will be a lot more room in the house, which will help.

lithe and limbre 3 years ago

That is gonna be me. As soon as I get on the bandwagon. I have DVD’s, and I have done them before, so I know how to do them. I am just lazy. I know that is a poor poor excuse, but it is the truth! :)
