How to travel abroad

 "China & Chinese people are amazing!"
How I did it: I constantly checked travel sites that had "deals" and found really good prices on tickets. (sites like travelzoo, orbitz, etc) Then I did the same thing for hotels, kayak.com is good for that. Then I got my passport and went! We think its harder than it is! Of course I saved some money too.... I took the suggestion of a chinese friend and bought my tickets within china (hong kong to shanghai, shanghai to beijing) once I was in the country as it was cheaper than if I would have bought them before in NY. He was right. But i'm not responsible if they cost more when you get there!!! Lessons & tips: Don't think that just because your half way around the world you've earned your "good time". yes… of course, if there is a chance i can travel abroad before i can even satisfy myself on the food, scenic views, people, culture, etc, i’ll still go abroad. :)
last february, i purchase a ticket going to Cebu ( which i miss a lot) for more than 80% lower than the average price. yahooyahoo… im planning to bring my family but i dont have a lot a mullah yet…

I would love to see Europe. I’d also like to see Asia…which is something I NEVER thought I’d say.
I went from never leaving the US to visiting 3 countries and 2 continents in less than a year. Totally worth it.
I’ve always wanted to see Australia! I’m worried about money and trying to get further out of debt first though. My wife is trying to get me to move forward and make plans for a trip to Australia soon before life gets us too tied down.
