Act in a play again

I auditioned for the one acts at school, but I didn’t make it. It’s nbd though cause the seniors knew who they would pick before we even auditioned! Anywho, I’ve got the lead in a musical project for theater class. It’s not a real play but I’m getting closer!

Acted in the shotgun festival at school. I say it counts for something, and man do I miss performing more often!

i was the drama queen in high school too. ha but that was only a two years ago. when i went to college i started out majoring in drama but gave it up because damn, actors are wierd. but i miss the stage. i love attention. i think im going to try harder next semester so i can be in plays and meet new people. and get more attention. ha.

I am taking some acting lessons to build some confidence…so maybe that will help achive this goal!

I use to write, direct and star in my own plays at our church…I haven’t done that in a long while, but I love Tyler Perry and all his plays…I would love to work with him one day.

All through high school i was the drama queen. I loved acting, but i was wise enough to know i couldn’t take the heartbreak of rejection from “small town star” to real life nobody. But i miss the stage. Geez, it’s been 16 years since i set foot on one. Maybe i’ll look into one of the Augusta theater guilds. They need older chicks too, eh?

My high school, which has a fantastic theatre program, put on “Guys and Dolls” just this past April, and as a freshman I played Nicely-Nicely Johnson! There was a cast of 44 people, (22 guys, and 22 dolls!) The experience was tremendous, and I can’t wait until I act again! The fall play of my sophomore year is going to be Alice in Wonderland! I’m shooting for the part of the Caterpillar, wish me luck!

based in Russia, we acted a volunteerily done musical play very resently and are looking forward to doing the second part of it and present in December 1. Why Dec. 1st coz it is an AIDS awareness programme. the play was RENT- originally done by Broadway group New York. really looking forward to that and many other plays should I come across. I love acting! I admire the Hollywood world…if only wishes were horses.. Cheers,pple!
