FINALLY DID IT. Jeez, that took me long enough. I was so hungry by the time I got there that I inhaled the entire meal. But it was good. :)

Seriously, what’s up with this taking me this long?
Must try and get to that last restaurant sometime soon! I’ve had ONE restaurant holding me back all this time.

Forgot to update for awhile and I’ve been sidetracked by work and still too shy to go into Ben and Joys. The place that used to be Hamptons re-opened, so I’ll have to eat there as well now.
Ate at the Freeway Sub Station on Halloween! Horrible pizza, but it’s off my list. :P
Bar Louie Evanston- OVERPRICED drinks!!!
Bennison Bakeries Inc- Very nice!
Buffalo Joes’ -tasty fries and wings
Dixie Kitchen- good, but not as good as real food in the south
Ethel’s Chocolates- yummy
Gigio’s Pizzeria- tasty
Great Harvest Bread- I love their bread and sandwiches
hartigan’s Ice Cream Shoppe- tasty, yummy
Peet’s Coffee and Tea- great tea
Pine Yard- very good food
Pinto Noodles and Rice- decent thai/chinese
Sher Main Grill- greasy, but tasty
Wolfgang Puck Cafe- VERY TASTY- so sad it closed:(
Celtic Knot Public House- tried the Afternoon Tea…FANTASTIC!!!!
Tag’s Bakery- yummy! my birthday cake was from Tag’s
I’ll have to update the list of new places and those that have closed soon.
russellviii Getting ready for the summer's last vacation
I have tried most of the restaurants in the town where I live. Yes I know, I have done a lousy job of writing about them.
I have decided to give up on this goal, mostly for one simple reason: I have tried pretty much all of the restaurants that I where I would like to eat. The remaining ones are those with cuisines which don’t really appeal to me, or are too scary to eat at in the first place.
Let me give a case in point. Yesterday four of my work colleauges decided to go out to lunch. They invited me to go along. I had brought my lunch that day and respectfully declined.
When they returned, I asked them where they went to eat. They named a Mexican restaurant I hadn’t tried yet. I had heard that their food was good, but that their reputation for cleanliness was somewhat dubious. I thought what a pity it was that I did’t go along, I could have progressed in my goal.
Today, my four colleauges were talking about their lunch yesterday and commented how they all had stomach aches later in the day.
Do I feel bad that I missed out? Not so much.
Do I plan to ever hit that restaurant on my own? Probably not.
I gladly remove this goal from my list.

This’ll be really easy, considering I live in a small town.
I eat at Larry’s Pizza on a regular basis, and I’ll count the Dairy Freeze because I used to eat there a lot, but now the prices are outrageous.
So that leaves Ben and Joy’s, and the Freeway Sub Station, which I used to eat at all the time when I was little because my father delivered for them. Hampton’s closed without me realizing it, so I can’t eat there anymore! :-X Foo.

that the I don’t live in a huge city. If I lived in NYC or someplace like that, the goal would seem rather unrealistic.
I went to Clarke’s awhile back. It was good. I have an apple pancake. FANTASTIC!
Last night we had Cozy Noodle and today I tried Blind Faith Cafe. They were both REALLY GOOD:) I’d highly recommend both of them.
