Well this is going nowhere! I took the Cha-cha guide test and it said I “did not meet the criteria” umm, all you do is search and type! how could I not meet the criteria? but oh well. I can’t find anything to do from home. I don’t want to sell stuff, you know Partylite, etc.
Both my SIL and her sister are expecting babies and have to go back to work. I know they need sitters but neither one has asked me and I don’t know if it would seem opportunistic to ask? But other than babysitting I can’t think of anyway to make money and still stay home.

casey1377 is investing her $6 for her future

I am trying to work from home as well. It is paypal approved. So I am investing my $6 9 months ago

I got an email about a $6 investment. It seems easy enuff and a good way to make my money work for me. I don’t have to sell anything, thank goodness! :-) I will keep posted to let everyone know how it goes!

Well I found an ad on Craigslist and after some emails found the job is working as a Cha Cha guide. I had never heard of it before. Basically how it works is people text message questions and I sit at home and receive the messages. Then I Google the answer as quickly as I can and message them back. You get paid 20 cents a question, so obviously it’s not for everyone but if I can make an extra $50 a week just for fun I’ll be happy. You have to at least answer 200 questions a week but you can do more if you want. I still haven’t gone through with it yet, I have to download Firefox so I need my hubby to make sure it will work on our computer. I also have to take a test(how fast I type, look up the answers, accuracy) but I think I should do ok. I am pretty excited about it, and anxious to get started.

I did look into Cheerful Noise more and only one store I use honors their discounts, so I’m not sure it’s worth $35 a month. Plus I hate to bug people to join stuff.

Lately it seems money is getting tighter an tighter… I’m not sure if it’s our spending habits, the economy, or a combination of both. Now that my son is eating table foods our grocery bill has definitely gone up We go through 2 gallons of milk a week! And things always pop up- last month my car broke down and cost $700 to repair, the month before our dog needed stitches at $350! But whatever the cause, I am looking for someway to A)cut spending and B) make some money. But how? I won’t leave the kids at a daycare to work, and even if I did daycare for 2 kids would probably cost more than I’d earn! So I’ve been surfing the web for ways to make money at home. Yes, you guessed it. SCAMS EVERYWHERE. I was just about to give up when I came across a company called Cheerful Noise. Has anyone else heard about it? It’s like a club where you pay a monthly membership and in return supposedly get hundreds of dollars in coupons and a discount card. You can stop there, or you can refer people. Then when they sign up for the monthly membership you get a kickback, and they get the benefits of the membership savings. It sounds really good to me, but I am going to have to think and pray about it for a few days. But if anyone knows more or has tried it, please share! and if you think it’s a horrible idea, share that too!

caution: long winded update 11 months ago

I filled out an application to watch the autistic kid next door a couple hours a week. Doesn’t pay much and isn’t for many hours (mostly getting him off the bus and keeping him safe until mom or his sister get home) but SB is allowed to hang with us and if things go well (I used to be a therapist for autistic kids) maybe his mom would be up to added hours. It’s not completely from home but it’s next door so I’m counting it.

Not to mention I’ve been looking into ABA therapy in the area and there are lots of opportunities. It’s not exactly what I wanted to do but I think it could lead to greater things. Plus it’s flexible, I feel very confident in my abilities, and I think I could be a better therapist than I ever was, now that I’ve had my son. I had no idea there was so much to learn about behaviorism from my own child. I feel I will be able to understand parents better and hopefully encourage those with AP tendencies that attachment parenting and behavior modification really can go together.

Okay I know this kinda contradicts the whole debt entry I wrote but I’m not too stupid to at least keep myself open to opportunities. I just read this article about companies hiring stay at home moms for temporary projects. It’s worth taking a look at again so I’m posting it here

this link could be a possibility.
