How to go on a road trip with no predetermined destination
It made me
 "We just spontaneously decided to take a roadtrip one day, stayed overnight in a hotel on the way and ended up driving across the state and back."
How I did it: In a car. It took 2 days driving across the state and ending up in Idaho, then driving back the next day. Just the spontaneity of the whole experience is what made it fun. I can't even remember if we stopped by home to pack.

I’ve wanted to do this (again) for ages. I did it once; I called out of the job I had at the time that I hated. We decided to drive into Florida. I think we did something innocuous like go to the mall and see a movie. I’m pretty sure we saw The Blair Witch Project. We were both dressed in nice work clothes, so it seemed more fun and spontaneous somehow.

Life is so bloody monotonous, just feel some days to go on a roadtrip or just go out, or get out there .Go somewhere write a book on my experiences. Sleep in huts, hitchhike, feel the wind on my face while i ride the bike.

A friend of mine is supposed to be coming to visit in December, and rather than sit around my house we’ve had the idea to just drive somewhere.
From here in the midlands in the UK it should really be possible to get to a huge number of places in the 3-5 days we’ll have.
I’d like to go to at least one place out of the country, even if it’s just France or Ireland for a while, but we’ll see where the roads take us. :D
I think I might do this soon.

Oh my goodness. This website has officialy changed my life. It is like I need to see that other people want to do something before I realize I want to do it too.
I dont know where I am going and I dont care when I get back. it represents total freedom. I want to get a van and a best friend and maybe a dog and sell poetry to get gas and food money and just drive untill I get to an ocean. Then swim?
