This is New View, a webzine that offers a fresh perspetive to the people who are passionate about dance for the people who are passionate about dance in todays world. there are news of up and coming groups, performances, the latest trends and views on dancewear and equipment. Two friends of mine, James and Jenn (man and wife), used to publish their own local newspaper out of their apartment in New York City. Unfortunately after a year or so, there was no longer enough ad revenue coming in to support the printing costs and they had to shut down the business.

A short while ago, after a fun round of trivia, I suggested that we could take the overhead out of the equation and have a go at a strictly virtual ‘zine.

So after some serious consideration, laborious effort, painstaking design, and six months of sweat… la presenta: The GeekZine, and GeekZine: The Blog

I created all of the designs and coded everything myself, but not without a serious amount of technical help and mentoring provided by my great friend and technical guru, Nicolai!

The main body of content is written by my wife, Eve, friends, James and Jennifer, and myself. Additionally, we’ve gathered a dozen or so contributing authors so far.
