I needed a pair of boots for the MSS courses. I wasd going to buy a pair out of necessity, but instead, I just went barefoot. I cut up my foot pretty badly on the gear shifter, cut up my foot on the ground ‘power walking,’ and got a blister from the rear brake, but I didnt have to buy a pair of boots.
Finally. Some success with this materialism thing.

I want to maintain my bike and get a new set of wheels (or at least tires) for riding in the city with Critical Mass and such, but I feel like I’m always wanting to buy something. How did I get stuck in this mentality?
How does one beat materialism?

Wow, I don’t even know where to begin.
I still haven’t purchased a pair of sneakers that I wanted to buy three weeks ago…
But I bought those bindings and boots. Ride DFC SPi and Salomon F22s.

Resisted buying sneakers for another day.
But I will probably buy them some day soon, for one reason or another. Is there a point to resisting materialism?

On the verge of buying sneakers, books, boots, bindings. This is way too hard.
