Say what I need to say (with good intentions)~detach from the outcome and move on

The funeral arrangements are done. I called Mom while I was at the funeral home with her sisters and she came. There are a few additional things to do…and they will be done. Ma got mad though, why do people hold back their assets when they’re needed? (Hello aunties, she’s your Mom too!)...and then talk about getting their hair done and buying a new dress? Lord, I’ll be much more at ease when the dust has settled on this one.

We need to take care of this business now.

To help with my Grandma’s funeral arrangements. We had arranged 2 meeting times at the funeral home and didn’t go because we were supposed to meet there, but Mom had something else to do first. At the end of the day, she opted to not participate…and she’s literally screaming at people as they try to finalize Grandma’s funeral. I will be helping my aunt very shortly…but am trying to understand what happened! I feel very frustrated because Mom started out being so endearing and now she’s MIA! It’s time to work on a new affirmation…and a few well chosen heartfelt words.
