Pop Tarts D: 4 months ago

Well, my mum just got back from the store and had bought a nice big fattening box of non frosted cinnamon and brown sugar Pop-Tarts. Now most of the time, I don’t even have a craving for a pop tart.

Plus, Pop Tarts are ridiculously caloric and fattening! There’s like no nutrition in them. At all.

Pop Tarts may be vegan(select, non-frosted types), but that does NOT make them healthy.

Just like Lays and Fritos and vegan caramel and huge bowls of fruit loops, just because something is vegan does NOT necessarily make it healthy!

So, even when I am tempted to eat something like that, I must fight the urges, and always remember every single molecule and fat gram and simple carbohydrate is just not worth the taste.

I should know, right? I mean, I think it’s about time I start to lose some damn weight. I’ve spent a good hefty chunk of my summer sitting around and eating even more calories than I had previously burned during my tedious, ever so boring workouts.

On the bright side, I am doing quite well in terms of eating healthier. But less? It seems to be the opposite.

I’m thinking about cutting out all junk food starting tomorrow because I feel so guilty about eating a load of sugary stuff. I have less energy now. I usually don’t eat like this. What happened? I must be self motivated to start getting back to my regular routine!

Another one of those things that everyone tries but gives up after a while? Not me! :D

Thanks to a great book (“Skinny Bitch” – thanks to Victoria Beckham for reading it while being photographed ;) ) I discovered the evils of food and decided enough is enough and stopped eating shite food. The occasional temptation is there (A bit of Dr. Pepper every other month …) but I’m doing good. Another book I bought that changed my life: “What’s REALLY in your basket???”

Eating out was hurting this goal 3 years ago

Now that I’m only eating out once per week I am eating much healthier food. I’m not tempted to eat junk food at home as much as I was when I was eating out more because my home meals are better planned. Also I can more easily control the junk food at home.

Too much suger 3 years ago

I really need to eat less processed sugar. Cookies, chips, etc. It gives me a headache and makes me cranky.
