I am utterly uninspired in my current job. I would love love love to wake up in the morning and go somewhere to work with inspiring people doing inspiring things. has to be out there.
How to find a job that i love and be well paid for it
How I did it: I didn;t "find a job" I made a job. I created an organized list of my skills, talents and interests. There are tons of things that make me happy. They all fit into one business- Creative Services. So after realizing no one was going to hire me in that industry I started my own. I look for opportunities everywhere to host an event, design a flyer, make a website etc.... slowly but surely I am gaining clients and a reputation.
Lessons & tips: My suggestion is to simply start. Don't wait for all of the pieces to
fall into place- they won't! You have to be accountable for your own
destiny and happiness. Do what you love. Whenever you can. Actively
pursue opportunities to do what you love. For free, for money,
volunteering... everywhere. Eventually you'll be doing it all the time.

I went back to school and got an Associates Degree in Graphic Design. I now have a website to sell products, t-shirts and stuff with my designs on them. http://www.cafepress.com/jwgraphicdesign Check it out and let me know what you think. Also any promo ideas you might have.

I have no proof of marketable skills, a co-parent that willingly supports me and all my dreams, and a definite chosen path… So, part 1 find a job that I love is done. I haven’t been able to find a job so I’ve hired myself. FP is legal and official. Being paid well doesn’t seem as important now that I’m excited to work everyday.
Currently I am looking, I search the papers & online daily. Now that my anxiety seems to be better I am in full blown search mode for that ever illusive job I will love! I have had two jobs in the past that have made me really depressed and skeptical and scared… I gotta get over past crappy jobs and move on!
I think I have done it this time. This year, I have been through three jobs. I even felt ackward leaving company #2 - but it was all worth it. The current position really matches my interests, skill sets, and personality. I enjoy the people I work with and I love the area (I had to move cross country to Colorado.) All worth it – and I would recommend to others. Of course there are some challenges - but I think that is because I really want to succeed in this role. Good luck to all others that are looking. You just need to know what you want and have the patience to find it. I have to take a couple other jobs in the interim to pay the bills but I finally found the job for me.

Currently, my job title is “Innovation Facilitator” which sounds interesting and it is. I am starting to love my job more and more as I work through it every day _
as for the “well paid for it”, I think I am paid fairly for it. It does not matter anyways as long as I am loving the job =D

I work at Papa Johns, and yea its not bad for a first job, being only 16. But i want more out of a job than minimum wage, with the crapiest hours ever….. i love the people i work with, but come on….
I find the independence of working on what I want a lot better than finding a great job at an established company.
I’ve been working for 20+ years and still havn’t figured out what I want to be when I grow up. Lately I’ve been working on finding who I am so I can figure out what is a good fit. The bottom line is that I’m extremely happy not having to go to a job every day. I can’t imagine I’m the only one. However, I do need to work, and why not at something that I’m passionate about? I am brainstorming about things I’m passionate about and how could I possible make money doing them. Which I think is my longer term solution. Right now, I need a short term solution to put food on the table and provide for my family.
