lose faith in doing the right thing for the right reasons enough to get angry enough to attempt to change the system

I changed it enough for two… for the time being…. :)

America has in it’s social services. The social workers are under staffed, under paid, and entirely over worked. This leads to burn out, stress, and the inability to work their case load 100%.

We’re done. Our lives have been lead by anothers schedule for over a year now. Our social lives have bottomed out, vacations are non existant. Headaches and frustration have become common place.

From my experience, I’ll give a bit of advice… Never become foster parents. It is a thankless job. It takes someone with a much harder and jaded heart than I do.

Possibly a month from now I’ll be able to contact those who advocate for foster care and tell them why it doesn’t work… how it could work… and how it should work.
