My dad died young, well, 43 is young right? I’ve hit that age, and it’s a milestone because of how dad’s life went. His first heart attack was at 32. He had triple by-pass shortly thereafter. I made it to 42 and then had to get a pacemaker. I don’t have the same problem as dad. My natural pacemaker just quits.
I have three children. 21, 14, and 6. I never really thought I’d live to see the first one grown up. It’s been a true blessing to watch her grow up and blossom into a young lady. It is truly a beautiful thing. My 14 year old, is now in the process of becoming a young man, and I want to watch him finish the job. And my 6 year old daughter, she’s in a class of her own, and boy, I wanna watch that too.
I know I’m asking a lot. I just remarried, my second marriage. Feelings of love are quite mutual. Who would not want to live a long time under these circumstances and prosper so that when she does go, she can leave a nice legacy behind for her children.
